Viraura (“we”, “our”, “us”) is operated by Navyux Ventures, a sole proprietorship registered in India. We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use viraura.in.

We collect the following information:

Account information:

• Name and email address (when you sign up)
• Profile picture (if signing in with Google)
• Payment details (processed securely by Razorpay — we never store card numbers)
• GSTIN, business name, and billing address (only if you invoice as a business)

Usage information:

• Captions and content you generate
• Language and tone preferences
• Brand voice settings
• Generation history

If you use our Telegram, WhatsApp, or Instagram bots:

• Your Telegram user ID, or WhatsApp/Instagram phone number and profile name
• Messages and comments you send to these bots, to generate a reply

Technical information:

• IP address (for rate limiting only)
• Browser type and device information
• Pages visited and time spent

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Viraura service
• Process payments via Razorpay
• Send transactional and marketing emails via ZeptoMail and Resend
• Enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
• Analyse usage patterns to improve the product (via PostHog analytics)

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal data to any third party
• Use your generated captions to train AI models
• Share your data with advertisers

Your data is stored on:

• Supabase (database) — servers in ap-south-1 (Mumbai)
• Vercel (hosting) — global CDN

• Free plan: No generation history retained
• Creator Lite: History retained for 15 days
• Creator plan: History retained for 30 days
• Creator Growth plan: History retained for 45 days
• Creator Pro plan: History retained for 60 days
• Account data retained until account deletion
• You can delete your account anytime from Settings

We use these third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Google (Gemini) — primary AI caption generation. Your content is sent to Google for processing, which may take place on servers outside India. Google's API data retention policy applies. Google does not use API data for training by default.
• OpenAI — fallback AI provider. Same data handling principles apply, including processing outside India. OpenAI does not use API data for training by default.
• Razorpay — payment processing
• Resend and ZeptoMail — transactional and marketing email delivery
• PostHog — product analytics
• Vercel — hosting and deployment
• Upstash — rate limiting (Redis)
• Meta (Instagram & WhatsApp) — if you interact with our Instagram comment-to-DM feature or WhatsApp bot, Meta processes the messages exchanged as part of delivering that service. See Meta's own privacy policy for how they handle this data.
• Telegram — if you use our Telegram bot, Telegram processes the messages exchanged as part of delivering that service.

We use essential cookies for:

• Maintaining your login session
• Security and fraud prevention

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your generation history (Creator Pro plan)
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails

We will acknowledge data-related grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days of receipt.

Viraura is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of Viraura after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
