Viraura was born from a simple frustration — Indian creators spend more time writing captions than actually creating. We fixed that.
Why we built Viraura
I'm Vishu, an NRI software developer based in the US. Like millions of Indians living abroad, I stay connected to India through social media — following creators, D2C brands, and the incredible energy of Indian Instagram every single day.
What I kept noticing was a gap. Indian creators were posting amazing content but spending 30–45 minutes writing every caption in English — a language that didn't always connect with their audience. The AI tools that existed were built for Western markets. None of them understood Hinglish, the way Indian creators actually speak, or the cultural nuances that make content resonate.
So I built Viraura. A tool that speaks your language — literally. Whether you're a fashion creator posting in Hinglish, a food blogger writing in Tamil, or a D2C brand connecting with Bengali customers — Viraura generates captions that sound like you, not like a generic AI.
